The Bura 4.8 is a very well built RIB, whose quality construction will appeal to many boaters who know what they want. This evolution of the Bura Boats design include a modern and sports look characterised by a clever and efficient use of spaces. Those who are familiar with smaller Bura RIB\'s will not be surprised with the quality engineering built into the all-new Bura 4.8, by the level of finish which is clearly above average throughout. All these factors shows that this boat is produced on a very high standards.

At just 270 kg (without engine), the 4.8 is relatively lightweight boat which makes her easier to trail and launch than many her heavier competitors. Standard features include a steering console, a raised platform forward, helm bench and a transom bracket/platform with stainless steel ladder. The console contains the steering wheel, mechanism, plexi windscreen, stainless steel handrail, electric panel and a front padded seat. Storage spaces are limited, but are rally enough for this size of RIB (wet and dry bow locker, console locker and big storage area under the bench seat). The extendedly rounded bow provides added cockpit flexibility, offering a larger sunbathing zone that stretch to the console\'s front seat. The wedge-shaped form of steering console frees the way for simple communication between stern and bow. Comfort can be improved with additional optional equipment, including: stainless steel roll-bar with navigation LED lights, bow running board, built-in fuel tank, bow pillows, sunbathing area with pillows, stainless steel bimini, alu bimini, winter canvas, console cover.

A good-running boat with stable and dry ride, a single 40-hp Honda outboard will cruise the Bura 4.8 at 22 knots and reach 28 knots top (the maximum outboard power for this RIB is 80 hp). The boat is quick to fly, with four seconds for planing speed and fourteen for top speed. The bow rises for a moment, but with no loosing a good visibility. The boat is well balanced, so it\'s simple to drive, and all indicators are visible and handy.
