In an industry where the competition is strong and relentless, every novelty is, factually, an imperative. It does not always have to be revolutionary. Extraordinary details that make space more interesting and pleasant are quite enough. In this case, 280 AS offers different solutions of cockpit and interior design that are rather unexpected for boat of this dimensions. Unusual is the place for mini-galley, which pushes completely forward, in order to release as much places for the toilet space. With sliding starboard door for the helmsman, small wheel-house is more practical, as well as beside the full standing headroom has become the exquisitely comfortable space for four. Other solutions are carried out in a traditional way, with use of firm quality materials. Hull with large swim platform has habitual deep-V shape with stainless steel keel and propeller protection. Practicality is enhanced by three electric bilge pumps, bow thruster and hydraulic steering, as well as an electric windlass and a revised, longer swinging bow roller. For the fisherman, standard cockpit features include a livewell with pump, four cockpit lockers, small cutting board and a fish locker with ice while three wooden foldable cockpit benches are provided for moments of relaxation. An artificial teak laminate covers the floor in the cabin and pilothouse which are equipped with a comprehensive array of gauge. The interior accommodations provide berths for four. Standard 320 hp 4.2 litre Cummins MerCruiser Diesel will cruise 280 AS at 24 knots and reach a top speed in the neighborhood of 30 knots.
