Boston Whaler 235 Conquest

The 235 Conquest is the trailerable cuddy cabin model which affords ample room for fish fighting or entertaining guests onboard thanks in part to an innovative asymmetrical transom design. The port transom sports an integral standard livewell while the starboard transom area is open for fish fighting or unobstructed access to the boarding platform. On centerline is a stern seat big enough to accommodate up to two adults. When not in use, the stern seat folds flush to the motor well rail to create an expansive 42 square foot aft cockpit, with total cockpit space measuring 55 square feet.
Standard power is a 225 horsepower Mercury Marine OptiMax outboard engine with digital SmartCraft instrumentation. Other features of the 235 Conquest include an easy-to-maneuver, wide, recessed bow walk around and a comfortable cuddy cabin with v-berth, head and storage. In terms of performance, the 235 Conquest features a smooth, dry ride with quick planing characteristics afforded by its exclusive Accutrack hull design. Its deep-V hull entry cleanly slices through waves and chop to soften the ride in rough water. Spray generated by the hull is deflected by the distinctive Whaler “smirk” design which redirects spray to the water’s surface producing an extremely dry ride rather than spray being blown into the cockpit. Quick planing characteristics are achieved through a gradual transition of the deep-V forward to less of a V aft, requiring less power, effort and fuel to plane the boat. Powered by Mercury 225 Verado, 325 Conquest achieves planing time of 6.2 seconds. She cruises at 27.4 knots with fuel consumption of 12.5 gph and 277 miles cruising range. Maximum speed with the same engine amounts to 36.4 knots at 6000 rpm.
Its two-piece tempered glass windshield is designed to promote visibility while the helmsman is sitting or standing. A windshield wiper is standard as is the molded in footrest for the helmsman. The helm side also features a storage pocket molded into the dash with a 12-volt receptacle for powering cell phones and handheld electronics. The passenger side includes a fold down footrest and a beefy stainless steel grab rail that serves as a handhold while underway or while entering or exiting the cabin via the lockable companionway door. Within the cabin is a V-berth with a removable filler cushion to accommodate two adults. Headroom in the cabin is a comfortable 4’11.” A standard head with deck pump out stows beneath the center section of the V-berth. Cabin interior materials include superior grade marine vinyls and smooth molded surfaces for low maintenance and enhanced longevity. Three storage compartments are located beneath the V-berth cushions port, starboard and forward. Each side also features folding rod racks so that fishing gear can be secured in the cabin without obstructing sleeping accommodations.
Although most features are standard on the 235 Conquest, notable options include a hardtop with electronics box, cockpit flood light, dome light, and four rod holders; weather curtain set; boarding platform with telescoping ladder; a clarion AM/FM digital stereo with CD player and four water proof speakers; and factory installed Navman and Northstar electronics.
