1180 Open Moraga is at the top of Faeton´s Open Moraga range. A very particular boat with exceptional performances for fishing also ideally adapted, with its modern Sport-Cruiser design, to family usage. Developed through the collaboration of the designer´s office of “Pierluigi Floris Architetto” and Faeton´s engineering department and based on the deep V hull designed by the American David Napier, it includes a modern polyester hardtop mounted above the helm station on a robust stainless steel structure.
The helm station as well as the cockpit have been designed with a touch of elegance and a very convenient lay-out, with a very complete standard equipment including a galley with refrigerator, sink, gas cocker and generous drawers for dishes, a large live-well with salt water circulation, a fresh water hand basin and an icebox module very convenient to keep soft drinks. Three large storage compartments with removable boxes, four 12v sockets, four rod holders, a warm water shower, a sea water tap, and a convenient foldable stern seat complete the cockpit equipment. All this in a modern and elegant design, proper to a Fisher-Cruiser of this category.
The refurbished interiors to which Faeton has now used us to, with elegant, modern and functional design, with a lot of wood and upholstery, do not leave any unresolved details. With the option of a second galley, or separate shower room which the fishermen and the divers will definitely appreciate as they can also use it to store their equipment. A Tuna-Tower built on a stainless steel structure, with a second steering station is also available for those who like deep-sea fishing. In addition, a second, more sporty version of this boat, is offered by the builder : the F38. On this version, the stainless steel structure is replaced by a polyester roll bar. This, with a windshield with a very aggressive profile makes it an authentic Sport-Cruiser that maintains all the marine qualities of the Faeton range.
The boat can be equipped with Volvo or Yanmar diesel engines with electronic injection in a power range from 370 to 440 HP. The engine compartment is easily accessible thanks to a hydroelectric system that allows the whole helm station floor to be lifted. This system is available on the whole Faeton range.
