A fisherman with tourist ambitions. In order to obtain interior comfort, bow afterdeck has been raised, so working area is confined to aft part of the cockpit. Because of this, such vessels are used by passionate sporting fishermen who are also fond of other activities, while cabin enables them to stay few days in every bay they like. Optional hard top with embedded place for additional rod holders classifies Galia 700 with smaller cruisers. High hull with specially designed bow, efficiently wards off bow waves, so crew stays dry despite rough sea, while solid hull construction provides feeling of the complete safety. Aft part of the cockpit is spacious with enough room for fishing tackle as well as scuba diving equipment. As a standard, the interior accommodations provide berths for two, and for the enlargement of comfort it is necessary to overpay for chemical toilet, cooker, sink, water system with the water-heater and mahogany wardrobe in pantry. Of the other optional equipment on the list also are: passenger seat, Autohelm ST40 bidata, teak in cockpit and on side decks, mahogany or carbon steering wheel, electric anchor winch, trim tabs installation and hydraulic steering system. A single 225 hp outboard engine will deliver a cruising speed of 25 knots (32 top), and a pair of 150-hp outboards will deliver a top speed of about 40 knots.
