Since 1965 Hansvik Båt AS has been producing boats for the Norwegian market that are well known for their quality and safety all over the Norwegian coast line. At the moment, Hansvik is producing 18 different models of multipurpose boats.
In 2009 Hansvik introduced model 630 ComfortSpeed . That is a modern version of the typical Hansvik Boat –a combination of a boat well suited for fishing, relaxing and family trips under all weather conditions.
The 630 Comfortspeed model was awarded with the “Best buy” award on the 2010 “Sjøen for Alle” boat show in Oslo.
Successful collaboration between Hansvik and the Croatian producer!
After negotiating with different European boat builders in autumn 2010, AD Boats from Solin, Croatia, was selected as a producer for the Hansvik 630 ComfortSpeed. Ad Boats is chosen because of their competitiveness, product quality, competence and capacity. Ad Boats is also a well known producer of Salona sailing boats but now AD Boats has opportunity to implement knowledge and skills applied until now in the production of Salona sailboats and Maestral inflatable boats into the Hansvik boats.
The co-operation between AD Boats and Hansvik Båt AS has become a reality owing to the CroNoMar company. CroNoMar is an innovation company based in Sibenik with focus on the Maritime sector. CroNoMar has a business development team consisting of younger Croatian professionals that is led by Malvin Villabø, and this organization is making an excellent progress throughout several different projects between Norwegian and Croatian partners.
By the middle of May AD Boats is going to produce first 20 boats for Hansvik, and before the end of July another 30 boats are going to be delivered. This makes this project a real success for Hansvik as well as for the Croatian partner.
Cooperation between AD Boats and Hansvik is driven full speed ahead by an excellent young team. Opportunities raising from this cooperation are precious for both sides. With this cooperation, Ad Boats will be introduced to the big European market of motor vessel production.
Hansvik is pleased with the work, quality and deliveries performed by the Croatian partner, and is looking forward to a long lasting collaboration.
Because the two companies have totally different markets, both product-related and geographically, this is going to be a win-win situation for both companies.
