Ocean 42 SS is the successors of model which production ends in 1995, and belongs to the new generation of Ocean´s Super Sport models. This version of the 12.83-metre fisherman is mainly big game fishing-orientated with an all-new hull design, a spacious aft cockpit low on the water and excellent visibility from the helm station on the fly bridge. With a classic sportfish profile, 42 SS is built on beamy planing hull designed with generous flare at the bow.
The salon boasts rich teak wood furnishing (cherry is optional), and has a complete entertainment center. Her main-deck galley, equipped with an ample array of appliances, rises to every convivial occasion. Below decks, there are two excellent suites, the master forward and the gest aft. The master has a big island berth, the guest twins. This very practical boat comes with a full range of standard features, including a hardtop, separate equipment room under staircase, a huge fish box in the cockpit and ease of access to the engine room.
There are available four engine options, twin CAT or Yanmar diesels, from 2x510 to 2x720 hp. They will cruise Ocean 42 Super Sport around 26 knots and reach a top speed of 34 knots.
