In production of smaller vessel, usual case is developing several versions of the basically same model built on the same hull with minor differences in appearance and in standard, as well as optional, equipment choice. This practice decreases production cost, while enabling versatile utilization in order to attract considerably wide range of boaters.
Striper 2601 CC has been specialized for passionate anglers, for which cruising is mainly losing a time. Amenities on this boat include a console changing room, a swim/dive platform, a fish box with an overboard drain and floor lockers with macerators to prevent clogging. Standard power for this boat is an outboard from 225 hp (max. 350 hp).
Among several possible outboard choices, twin 150 hp Yamaha four-strokes will cruise the Striper´s largest Center Console at 24 knots (where she burned 9.5 gph) and reach a top speed of around 41 knots. With this configuration, she is on plane in 5 seconds.
