Heralding a new standard in this size, both variants will offer well appointed cabins with en-suites and spacious inside/outside living upper accommodation. The BAVARIA R40 Flybridge will have her official world debut at Cannes International Boatshow this September. The BAVARIA R40 Coupe will be launched at the end of the year.

The new V-Hull designed by J&J featuring progressive tapered S-chines, electric steering and latest generation trim system gives the BAVARIA R40 very responsive feedback to helm input while retaining sure footed safe handling with the deep V forward to ensure a comfortable ride.
The two high-torque Volvo Penta D6-370 engines with electric steering in the standard version bring the BAVARIA R40 to a predicted top speed of 35 knots. The more powerful Volvo Penta D6-400 engine is also available.
For the new BAVARIA R40 maximum comfort and relaxation was the primary goal of the development team. Everything on board of the BAVARIA R40 has been carefully considered: from the ergonomic designed helm area with three individual seats and helmsman’s side deck door, seamless saloon to cockpit floor, the well appointed full length galley with a generous worktops, options such as foredeck sunpad with integrated bimini, cockpit fridge or icemaker, transom cooking top with sink, bathing platform with tenderlift capacity for 250kg water scooter or jet tender.
Pure indulgent luxury in both cabins featuring double beds with en-suite bathrooms featuring porcelain sinks, electric fresh water toilets & separate shower stalls. The full width owners cabin features large hull windows, king size bed with chaise longue to starboard. The forward VIP guest cabin features superb hull windows and overhead hatch with large double bed as standard or optional scissor berths. Both cabins and bathrooms feature generous storage space. The exterior provides plenty of space for relaxing on the foredeck sunpad with adjustable headboards with integrated bimini, generous flybridge seating. Saloon and cockpit seating are divided by flush sill patio doors that slide away to create a lovely open sociable space for you and your guests.
The construction method of the BAVARIA R40 is a first for BAVARIA YACHTS. The fully sandwich cored hull, internal floorpan, deck and flybridge are all made using resin infusion technology. This gives consistent weight, quality and increased stiffness over traditional hand layup. In addition BAVARIA YACHTS is introducing a logical evolution to its world renowned building process. The lower accommodation featuring two cabins and bathrooms including headlinings are prebuilt outside of the hull. This includes all wiring and services, which are completed to the point of final connections. The whole module is then placed into the hull. This guarantees an extremely high build quality and an easy maintenance.
