Nimbus 380 Carisma unites three completely different and distant worlds - lively Mediterranean with open fly bridge and cockpit protected from burning summer sun, Nordic with closed helm station and solid, firm hull prepared for heavy sea and Far East with thrifty and always reliable Japanese dual diesel engines Yanmar. Hull is hand-laid sandwich construction with balsa core for better structural stiffness that can endure all sea conditions with top speed of 26 knots. In order to utilise interior as well as possible and, at the same time, ensure installing of the reliable shaft drive, V-drive has been applied. This enabled placing the engine as closer as possible to the aft peak, which expanded living area and provided large enough engine room for easy servicing. Below-deck is divided into two comfortable cabins with lots of room for storing personal belongings and head with separate shower booth. Closed helm station comprises helm seat, saloon with a table around which can gather six-member crew and a galley. Cockpit and fly bridge are also supplemented with numerous seats. Nimbus 380 Coupe is a new model with the same concept as Carisma, except that fly bridge is missing here. With Yanmar engines of 2x230, she has top speed about 28 knots.
