Designed like all the Prestige boats by Garroni, this new Prestige resumes the concepts that have made the success of Prestige:
- A pure general line, light and timeless, discreetly incorporating the flybridge.
- Seeking balance to reconcile a large internal volume with the Prestige line
The combined experience of Prestige’s design office and Jernej Jakopin helped to design a highly perfected hull. It effectively combines a large internal volume, a safe and comfortable sea passage and reflects the initial requirements and the desire to integrate an IPS on this size of boat.
The Prestige 420 will indeed go further in its promises with a Volvo Penta IPS (IPS 400 and 500) engine that offers exceptional manoeuverability.
With this hull, the Prestige 420 is the most efficient and most economical IPS400 offer on the market of fly boats.
The layout of the main deck makes life on board easy with its safe side decks, its recessed fore sunbath and its wide foredeck.
The large cockpit protected by the long flybridge is the natural extension of the interior space, giving direct access to the central galley. The 420 also has an optional hydraulic bathing platform and a gangway.
The Flybridge of the Prestige 420 is one of the highlights of the boat. Of an exceptional size for a 42-foot vessel, it is accessed by an overhead staircase.
This perfectly proportioned Flybridge contains all the comfort of a big boat: sunbathing, helm station with bolster seat in the line of descent, built-in galley (optional) and rear lounge with a folding teak table. The surface and length of the flybridge adds a distinctly contemporary style to this 42-footer.
True to the Prestige spirit, the 420 also comes in a coupe version.
Thanks to the large glazed electrically opened sunroof, the interior space opens at will or closes completely depending on the weather and your wishes. It transforms the saloon into a sunbath.
Powered by a Volvo Penta IPS400 or IPS500, the Prestige 420S offers performance that goes with its sporty lines, and
allows a top speed of 34 knots.
Ingeniously combining the open and bright space on the main deck with the very private spaces of the two cabins with separate entrances, the whole offers ergonomics and a particularly neat atmosphere.
As with all the Prestige boats, the central galley ideally serves the saloon and the cockpit.
The raised saloon offers a 360° view, even when sitted. Its position allows it to accommodate 6 people easily around a large folding and electrically lowered table (optional) which converts into a double bed. This position also makes it possible to be with the pilot when under way.
The main cabin has a large area with plenty of storage space and its independent head with separate shower. The fore cabin features a differently fitted volume, with a head with direct day access.
This exclusive Prestige fitting-out is an absolutely unique feat on a 42-footer. It makes the Prestige 420 the only flybridge boat on the 40-foot market with a wide body central cabin and independent access.
