The combination of classical styling and elegance with the most advanced solutions in terms of safety and technology, gets across an immediate feeling of psychophysical well-being, arising from the natural light that permeates the living areas and every cabin, the large windows, the natural woods and leathers, the intelligent layout that multiplies space aboard, the sky lounge on the upper deck, and undivided attention to the growing demand for wellness and infotainment aboard thanks to the Radiomarine entertainment system integrated with the Internet connection module.
The Navetta 26, a further extension of the Ferretti Custom Line fleet, was born of a project of Norberto Ferretti, the Chairman of the Ferretti Group, and was produced thanks to the joint efforts of the company’s AYT (Advanced Yacht Technology) Engineering Division and the Studio Zuccon International Project. Three elements can be seen as veritable breakthroughs: the huge open-view window that converts each cabin into a suite, embedded in the light and the atmosphere of the natural environment; a sky lounge featuring removable glass walls, that make it possible to create a single open space with the lounge area and the sunbathing area with comfortable sun beds and a Jacuzzi. Comfort onboard is ensured by the exclusive Anti-Rolling Gyro system, supplied as standard, which reduces by over 50% the rolling motion caused by the waves, both when cruising or when anchored.
The classical exterior lines, taking their cue from the celebrated shapes of the “Navetta” range, are perfectly integrated with the interior design establishing a harmonic set of functional solutions exploit the available space most effectively, all to the advantage of habitability. The light-coloured woods create a refined and welcoming atmosphere: furniture, textiles and d?cor can be customised to accommodate the ship owner’s preferences.
The large cockpit, featuring an extendable table for eight people, gives access to the salon, divided into a living area and a dining area, with room for up to ten guests. The panoramic living room, furnished with an L-shaped sofa and a tea table, can communicate directly with the exterior, thanks to the opening glass wall, affording a full view of the sea from any angle.
Towards the bow, there’s a wide galley with teak wood floor and a dinette with a bench and chairs for four people. A large cupboard can house an additional fridge or a freezer. The galley gives access to the crew quarters, able to host up to four people in two double cabins with two bathrooms. The pilot house is located in an elevated position relative to the deck, making for better control, especially when mooring.
On the main deck, at the bow, in a privileged position ensuring maximum privacy, we have the master cabin, with wide open-view windows on both sides. A pull-out semi-oval table, flanked by two small armchairs, can be used to create a writing area or to serve a private breakfast. The master cabin has private access to a large wardrobe and a bathroom with marble tops and a spacious shower booth.
Downstairs on the lower deck, a wide space can be set up as a storage room or as an additional wardrobe for the guests. The lower deck houses three or four cabins, depending on the layout chosen by the owner.
Layout A provides for two big VIP cabins – with double bed, walk-in closet and a private bathroom with marble tops and a large shower booth – plus a cabin with twin beds and private bathroom. Layout B has two VIP cabins with double bed and a spacious wardrobe, and two cabins with twin beds, each flanked by a private bathroom with marble tops and a shower booth.
Many outdoor lounging areas are provided where the guests can relax: on the deck in the front section, and on the upper deck in the stern area where we find two big sun beds. Accoutrements include an extendable table accommodating up to eight people, a closet with barbecue equipment and a storage compartment, that can be set up as an icebox.
The Navetta 26 is equipped with latest generation instrumentation, including the new Gi8 control system, which makes it possible to monitor and manage all controls, utilities, auxiliary units and alarms via touch screens. This intelligent solution simplifies access to the onboard systems by the crew and enhances comfort and safety levels to a significant extent.
The aft hatch gives access to a large garage designed to accommodate the tender and jet-skis, which are handled by means of a crane situated on the fly bridge. When opened, thanks to the teak cover, it converts into a swim platform.
Two Mitsubishi ARG (Anti Rolling Gyro) stabilisers are supplied as standard in the engine room.
Silence on board is absolute. When compared to similar size composite boats, comfort noise levels are very good. For example, when cruising at 13 knots, in the master cabin the noise stops at 49,5 dbA. At the same speed, in the pilot station, the sounds amount to 55 dbA while they keep under 65 dbA in the upper sun deck. Acoustical isolation is so efficient to allow a mere 38 dbA noise in the master cabin when moored with generators and ARG enabled.
In its standard configuration, the Navetta 26 adopts two MAN V8-900 engines, which make it possible to reach a peak speed of 14,5 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots. An alternative engine, the MAN V10-1100, offers a peak speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots.
The fuel consumption efficiency and the very high navigation range are absolutely surprising: thanks to the perfect balance between performances of the semi-displacement hull and the choice of the propulsion system engine/axis/propellers, on top of the undivided attention to the optimisation of weights and bearing, Navetta 26 allows for long cruises with strongly reduced consumptions (approximately 1.400 nm at 11 kn). The ideal cruise speed can be comprised between 6,5 and 13 knots, while always optimising the fuel expenditure: for instance, at 6,7 knots speed, the consumption is only of 20 liters/hour per engine.
