Aquamarine, the new Mochi Craft hull color, will characterize the first 64’ Dolphin lobster boat which will be presented at the beginning of the new nautical year and will flank the other three craft in the fleet. In the Mochi Craft brand’s own style, like the other craft in the fleet the new 64’ Dolphin also stands out with the sinuous, round forms of the hull and the distinctive choice of color and elegance of the bits.
The cockpit is very spacious as is traditionally the case in lobster boats which were first built in Maine for lobster fishing. It is equipped with a large fixed table in teak, and two comfortable “bench” sofas and a small corner sofa, making it a veritable open-air living room kept cool and shady with a pull-out boat awning. Below the cockpit you will find the garage, which is opened electro-hydraulically and houses a tender. And for sunbathing the 64’ Dolphin is equipped with two spacious sundecks on the sun top and the bow.
A sliding glass door and an up-and-over window providing plenty of light and usable space separate the cockpit from the open-plan room where you will find two large semi-circular sofas. The sofa on the right provides places at the dining table. To the left is the very well-equipped kitchen (with a large refrigerator, a combined oven and microwave and a dishwasher), while the steering post with a two-seater leather tip-up chair can be found on the right.
Below deck the layout includes three cabins and three bathrooms. The master cabin, positioned at the centre of the lobster boat, is equipped with a small leather sofa, a roomy walk-in closet and a spacious bathroom with a large stand-alone shower with Bisazza tiles and a teak chair. Two large windows ensure that both areas are light and provide a view of the surroundings. The VIP fore cabin has a comfortable double bed, while the guest cabin has twin beds. Each of these cabins has its own private bathroom. A cabin accessed from the cockpit is available for the crew. This cabin has bunk-beds for two people and an extra bed if required, as well as a private bathroom.
As well as in aquamarine, the Mochi Craft 64´ Dolphin is also available in turquoise, coral and oriental beige, in addition to the more classical intense blue and amaranth. The Mochi Craft lobster boat can accommodate two 1100 Mhp MAN V10 or 1224 Mhp MAN V12 engines. It reaches a cruising speed of 28 knots and a maximum speed of 32 knots. Finally, it is possible to arrange installation of the innovative Mitsubishi ARG Anti Rolling Gyro System, a Ferretti Group exclusive which allows for over 50% reduction of the rolling caused by wave motion both in navigation and when lying at anchor.
