In line with the Pershing philosophy that created the Pershing 115’ just over a year ago, the Italian yacht constructers have created a new gem, the aggressive Pershing 90’ which will be presented internationally for the first time at the 28th Festival International de la Plaisance in Cannes. This craft is highly innovative both in terms of her design and specifications. In fact, she combines remarkable size with perfect seaworthiness, speed with comfort, and space optimisation with careful attention to detail and accessories, one of the main qualities that distinguishes the Pershing range. The interiors are all remarkably high and spacious. The upper salon is a single, large open space, whereas there is a clear division between the night area in the bows and the roomy galley and the crew quarters, at stern. The superstructure based on that of the Pershing 115’ has passed through a number of design stages to adapt it perfectly to this new size. On the upper level the solarium is a deliberately private area, almost a kind of fly deck with a large sun cushion and a comfortable sofa that faces forward even when cruising.
The Pershing 90’ also has other features in common with the boatyard’s flagship. The three vertical windows on each side, for example, fill the Master Cabin with diffused light. In the bows, on the other hand, the position of the sunbed and dinette have been swapped around so the sunbed, which is lower, is more accessible and surrounded by a walkway that communicates directly with the dinette behind the sunbed, thus making the whole area very comfortable. Thanks to this solution and a hydraulically controlled sunshade, the dinette is pleasantly sheltered and particularly inviting for living life onboard to the full. The cockpit, furnished with a sofa, a large table, a chaise-longue and other furniture containing an icemaker and a barbecue, is another spacious and comfortable area.
Over the engine room there is a garage for storing a tender and a jet ski. The hangar opening is particularly interesting as it has been designed to be completely separate from the cockpit, in order not to disturb guests on the solarium and a foldaway platform is included for launching and stowing water toys. The salon is reached through a sliding glass door in the cockpit and has an attractive open-space design where discreet, stylish luxury and a harmony of shapes and colours dominate.
The helm station is situated centrally to offer an optimum field of vision when cruising or manoeuvring. The station also has two driving seats (for the pilot and co-pilot) and a highly sophisticated instrument panel. On one side there is a chaise-longue and on the other a small sofa for anyone wishing to enjoy the view while cruising.Twin 2400 hp MTU 16V 2000 M93 engines linked to Arneson ASD 16L surface drives will reach the Pershing 90 at top speed of about 44 knots with rang of 370 nautical miles at cruising speed.
