As a pinnacle of sporting creativity, XS 2000 has been made with the latest technology developed in the world class of off-shore races. Such concept answers requirements of the enthusiasts who acknowledge only wild force and untamed temperament, which results in unique vessel for a day´s chases and competition races. Brilliant performances XS owes to high technology of kevlar-reinforced hull with a double-step transom and an anti-stuff nose for quick recovery in rough waters. With meticulously optimised two-speed ZF gear box, Trimax surface drive and five-blade propellers, optional 420HP twin-engines enable impressive acceleration and developing maximum speed of up to 70 knots. Boat is regularly equipped with Yanmar engines of 2x320HP that could be either gasoline or diesel with cruising speed of 40 knots and cruising range of 180 nautical miles. Besides such distinctively sporting ride, XS 2000 offers supreme comfort. Interior consists of two cockpits, the aft and the bow one. Aft cockpit has central steering console, racing-style skipper´s and companion´s seats and the same seats for the passengers. Futuristically devised steering console is sumptuously equipped with all necessary analogue instruments plus sporting steering wheel and racing controls. Bow cockpit is used when XS is idle. It is protected by hydraulic fibreglass weather cover concealing settee with four seating places around the cockpit table. Lowering the table enables obtaining of another spacious sun bed. Double cabin and chemical toilet placed within steering console are accessible from the bow cockpit.
XS Sport is a racing version available in accordance with RYA-specified racing regulations. It brings the possibility for one-design class which purpose is to transform traditional attitude on sporting vessels. She has neither cabin nor bow cockpit hatch.
