GT 209 belongs to the other group of the Glastron vessels - small sporting cruisers with highlighted runabout characteristics (first group are bow riders intended for sport fishing and water skiing). She unites two concepts - concept of a cruiser with comfortable bow cabin in which can overnight two persons or smaller family and typical runabout concept of an easy manageable vessel that develops impressive speeds. With her good maritime qualities, GT 209 will provide crew with a joy of comfortable sailing, water skiing and swimming. In order to accomplish better comfort, it is possible to purchase cockpit galley consisting of sink, 18-litre water tank, alcohol stove and insulated icebox. Portable toilet is also optional. Another two things make this sporting cruiser/runabout attractive to wide range of boaters - transportability and moderate fuel consumption. Standard engines are MerCruiser or Volvo Penta of 190HP, while optional are another eight MerCruiser (max. 300HP) and seven Volvo Penta (max. 280HP) single engines.
