With unusual proportions and appearance, 21 Duckie seems to qualify as Marex´s "ugly duck". However, this impression is a result of superficial observation, since scrutiny of cockpit reveals intelligently devised concept of a boat that unites best qualities of traditional Scandinavian shipbuilding and contemporary requirements of the market. She is intended mainly for buyers with weekend houses on the coast who like to wander around free from care and occasionally drop the hook. Vessel is abundant with numerous storage units (bow, topsides, under bench seats and floor), which certainly suits sports anglers. Very clever solution is a transom tiller, thus boat can be managed from two places. With an engine of 100 HP, maximum speed amounts to 24 knots, while 56HP strong engine enables 16 knots.
