E 42 is derived from smaller models as their logical continuation with an additional energy and elegance. Exterior and interior design is suitable to Elan´s belonging class, simply described as traditionally attractive. Very clear outer lines with particular details emphasizing necessary aggressiveness of a sports vessel, in interior transform into tender warmth and safety of a home. Cockpit is optically split into three parts, on transom with the sunbathing platform, central daily stay with sofa, table and wet bar, and with the helm in front. Interior has been equipped with the rather big salon with galley, owner´s bow and one or two gusts cabins, as well as two or one toilet. The owner´s bathroom has the separated shower stall. Interior is finished with high gloss American Cherry wood and gets natural light from ten portholes and deck hatches. She´s built on a topside cored deep-V hull with solid fiberglass bottom and moderate beam for good sea keeping properties. Powered with Volvo Penta D6 twin engines 2x350 HP (stern drive), E 42 will reach a top speed of about 37 knots.
