Together with recognisable style, speed, allure and good maritime qualities in all sea conditions prearranged Genius 40 as a model attractive to boaters who prefer this category of yacht. Broad and functionally organised cockpit and especially below-deck, indicate that boat is typical representative of Italian design. Layout itself is habitual with two cabins, two heads and central saloon with a galley. Upon customer´s request, it is possible to add another double cabin. Engine offer comprises turbo diesel Volvo Penta stern drive with EDC module.

For the season 2006. Fiart 40 Genius beside the new name (42 Genius) has been improved in many details and promotions which this functional and spacial vessel turns into still better and more attractive. Of news separate:
- new and better windows of stainless steel
- the whole aft platform in the teak
- the new windshield with the better visibility
- new and more beautiful shape for the air intakes
- new and more modern shape of commanding board
- new and more functional galley with the bigger refrigerator and more storehouse
- new and more practical dinette shape with the table in the saloon
- new colors of woods in the cabin
- the new floor of woods in the saloon
- new materials for sofas and beds
- new versions of engines D6-330 HP with DP
- the new bench for the driver with locker for the liferaft.
The hull still gives excellent maritime characteristics and because of incorporation new D6 EVC DP engines of 2x330 HP the transom is reinforced. The top speed with these engines reached 40 knots.
