On the boating market, GT 249 fills the empty space between bigger open mid-cabin cruisers and smaller cuddy boats. GT 249 is a true family vessel that will completely satisfy average boaters´ needs for an active holiday without exhaustion of the home budget. She has been built on a V-shaped hull (Super Stable Vee) that provides excellent seaworthiness, such as fast planning, high speeds (up to 43 knots with a standard engine), low fuel consumption and outstandingly stable navigation. One-level cockpit is furnished with L-shaped settee with double back-to-back seat, convertible to bed, in resumption and provides room adequate for a four-member crew. Bow cabin also offers appropriate comfort, which is surprising for this still small cruiser. V-shaped settee with a dinette is convertible to double bed, while other couple can find their place in aft cabin. Consisting part of the cockpit is a handy galley (optional are microwave oven, alcohol/electric stove, water heater, shore power) and head compartment with fiberglass shower, sink and porta-pottie. This model is delivered with standard Volvo Penta and MerCruiser engines of 220HP, while customer can choose within wide range of other engines from these two manufacturers.
