The Marquis 420 Sport Coupe is a very ambitious project of the American Shipyard and Italian Naval Architects Nuvolari-Lenard. The base of the project is to realise an unmistakable sport cruiser for its design and a unique product for its elegance and refinement. The large use of the best materials for the internal area (exotic African Zebrano hardwood cabinetry with high gloss quality lacquered trim, wooden cabin sole and designer selected fixtures and appointments) make the boat extremely refined with a pleasant visual effect. The optional power retractable, tinted glass sunroof with integrated shade will fill in the whole impression.
Equiped with two double staterooms with single toilette (separate shower stall), in order to assure the guests the maximum comfort. It is surely an airy boat, full of light, thanks to the particular solution of the numerous side and ceiling portholes. Furthermore, a practical and functional galley cabinet makes this place complete.
The extended and sharp lines make the hull forceful, where the dashboard even more increases this impression, enriched with complete and up-to-date instruments which has decidedly high tech characteristics. Also, the 420 SC\'s hull is designed to take full advantage of the qualities of the Volvo-Penta IPS drive.
The competently formation of external space offers the concept of large cockpit with stern bench and already usually sunbathing area on the foredeck. A further distinctive detail is the innovative transom lounge which easily glides aft with a push of a button to create more than 60 square feet of cockpit space. On the list of standard equipment is the IPS joystick (for confidently maneuvers), Kohler 10kw generator, Maxwell 800 Windlass with Davis anchor and chain, double-welded bow rail stanchions with aluminum backing plates, windshield defoggers, red night vision overhead light at the helm, Entertainment group (26" LCD TV with lift, stereo system, DVD/CD player).
Engine options range from the Volvo-Penta D6 IPS 400 with 310-hp, to the Volvo Penta D6 IPS 600 rated at 435 hp. A fast boat, twin IPS 600 will cruise the 420 Sport Coupe around 26 knots with cruising range of 264 nm, and reach a top speed of 35 knots.
