All new from the keel up, the Monterey 275 SCR is a simply “summer” cruiser with a sport boat ambitions. This is immediately shown by the large cockpit, unique in its kind for its generous measures that will be certainly appreciated from the aficionados of total relax. Practical solution of the walk-thru transom door allows to move from the cockpit to the platform, without trampling on the cushion.
The characteristic style of 275 SCR bears from the research and from the attention in the choosing of every little detail. The relevant space of the cockpit is enriched with the sporting helm double seat and built in port chaise lounge with contoured backrest. In addition there is U-shaped seating and entertainment center with wet bar. The helm position reflects the sporting line of the 275 SCR - the general harmony of the instrument panel is combined with the sporting steering wheel with stainless steel spokes. Access to the bow is thru the curved tempered windshield and there are large steps. Furthermore, the attractive hull lines can not passed unnoticed, because of the entire refinement and slim curvatures.
Built on solid hull with a moderate beam, this practical cruiser has a mid-cabin floorplan and a rather innovative salon layout. The spacious interior is equipped with a full galley and a large V-berth that also converts into a sette/dinette for dining, while the mid cabin with its privacy curtains provides ample room for two more guests. The fully-enclosed head with stand-up shower and port light serves as the final complement and makes extended trips more enjoyable.
