With manufacturing of ever-bigger cruisers, Monterey follows the rapid rise tradition of both company and number of new models. 315 CR is a successor of the model 290 Cruiser with some revised details. This is a cruiser, which harmonious design adds to previous models with an obvious manufacturer´s intention to create recognisable appearance of the whole series. Hull, made of solid fibreglass, with integrated swim platform is average wide for its category. Deep underwater V enables comfortable ride also in cases of heavier sea. Cockpit is made in almost identical way as in bigger 322 cruiser, with a difference that aft seat isn´t U shape. Wet bar is customary equipped with sink, drink holders and outlet, while optional icemaker keeps beverages really cool all the time. The swim platform is adequately large to serve as a support for an auxiliary boat during ride and protect careless swimmers from the propeller while boat is on anchor. Shower with hot and cold water belongs to the standard equipment. Interior is wealthy outfitted with everything necessary for a comfortable sojourn of a four-member crew. There are facing settees in the mid cabin with a pull-out panel that converts the seats into a huge double bearth. 315 CR is regularly delivered with twin gasoline engines Volvo Penta 4.3GXi DP of 2x225HP, while optional are another five more powerful gasoline and one diesel engine of the same manufacture, as the option of MerCruiser´s engines with Bravo III drive.
