The sporty new family boat 27 Nova S is a “little sister” to the 30 Nova S, and is based on the same successful concept. In addition to the sidewalk, the boat offers a spacious afterdeck that is on the same level as the bathing platform. This makes it EASY to move around on board and to load the dinghy or fishing equipment.
The Nova 27 S has been developed under the motto EASY. The boat is lightweight, and it is both easy to handle and to produce. This provides a number of advantages for both the boat owner and for the manufacturing process, as well as, of course, for the environment (reduced weight, smaller engine, and reduced fuel consumption gives reduced exhaust fumes).
The distinguishing characteristics of the boat include a number of innovative solutions. The “sidewalk” concept allows unique spaciousness for this boat’s class. Although the boat measures just 27 feet, it meets the whole family’s requirements for everything from sport and fishing to comfortable lengthy voyages. The generously-proportioned cabin has a large V-shaped bed at the prow, as well as a bunk towards the rear on the starboard side of the boat. It also has a large toilet with shower option. The bunks are separated by clothing storage spaces. As well as the bunks in the cabin, beneath the canopy of the cockpit there is a dining unit that can be converted into a bed.
The boat’s cockpit has a spacious galley with a cooker, sink and fridge. On the port side there are sofas with a table between them and aft there is a deck with a sofa like that of “big sister” boat, the 30 Nova S.
Simple canopy handling, sporty yet straightforward manoeuvrability, solid fenders and, of course, a very well-planned production process, gives the new Nimbus 27 Nova S unique characteristics. This gives the boat owner a lightweight boat, which, with its minimal environmental impact, is ideal for most activities at sea.
