Sunseeker International announces the launch of their new Superhawk 43 at the Southampton International Boat Show from the 15th–24th September 2006. The Superhawk 43 marks yet another step in the evolution of the company’s product design. Keeping all the hallmark features typical of Sunseeker, this new model incorporates a number of subtle changes in design and styling to enhance the aerodynamic appearance and outstanding performance characteristics. The proven physics of the stepped hull has been used to provide optimum performance in both speed and handling with any of the engine and drive options.
As well as a race-bred sports boat the Superhawk 43 provides all the comforts expected from a Sunseeker. Three fully upholstered helm and co-pilot seats face an impressive helm station and curved screen, behind the helm station is a large u-shaped seating area with foldout table, a well equipped wet bar and twin sunloungers. Aft is a teak bathing platform complete with swim shower and boarding ladder. Below the foredeck is the accommodation area furnished and fitted to the usual Sunseeker standard comprising a saloon area with seating that can be converted to provide two Pullman berths, a large separate double berth, fully equipped galley and wc/shower.
The Superhawk 43 comes with a choice of power and drive options including Twin Volvo D6 (350PS/260kW @ 3600rpm) and triple Yamaha ME432 (315PS/235kW @ 3600rpm) using stern drives or twin Yanmar 6LY3A (480PS/360kW @ 3300rpm) using surface drives.
