The Sports Limousine from Van Diemen Luxury Craft is a superyacht tender designed to give maximum volume, versatility and comfort within specified size limitations of a tender bay. For those without a super yacht this patented system allows you to garage a large versatile trailer boat at your home. This design can be made in a range of sizes and styles, starting at 5.5m length.
When in Sports position, the roof is fully lifted, which makes it ideal for fair weather cruising and sports pursuits. The windows in this position can be fully lowered, fully lifted or partially lifted to provide weather protection. In Limousine position, the roof is lowered and the windows are fully raised to create a comfortable cabin that keeps the interior dry during inclement weather. Finally, the Stowed position lowers the windows and roof to the height of the gunwale, keeping the interior dry while transiting at speed.
Inspired to overcome the size limitations of a tender bay, the Sports Limousine is exceptionally versatile with its roof system that allows for a large boat to be stored in a small bay. And if it doesn’t fit, it can be easily towed with minimal drag and maximum efficiency.
The Sports Limousine can host up to 10 guests as well as 2 crew. Equipped with a 260 HP Volvo Penta common rail diesel engine with duo prop stern drive, the tender can reach a maximum speed of 35 knots, and when at a cruising speed of 25 knots, it has an impressive range of 280 nautical miles.
