The Dufour 40E Performance is a mix of innovations and proves it is possible to experience the excitement of high performance and the pleasure of comfort and space on board at the same time. New hull, new design, new interior layout, everything was improved for a maximum of performance, space and comfort on board. Performances, quality of materials, modern design in the interior as well as in the exterior, space, ergonomics and comfort are the key words of this new Dufour model.
On the exterior, the design is modern and refined like all Dufour models. Her deck layout and her streamlined hull have been optimized for fast cruising and regatta. As for the keel and rudder that have been designed for Performance, for a maximum of heading and close hauled. On deck, flush panels underline its refined aspect and space for better circulation. The cockpit is spacious and ergonomic with a double steering wheel system while offering optimum comfort and vision to the helmsman. The genoa roller furling system is mounted under deck.
On the interior, the use of solid wood like Moabi and high quality materials such as "Corian®" create a warm and cosy atmosphere. Lighting and ventilation are optimum thanks to many portholes and deck panels. The boat offers a maximum of space, ample storage facilities spaces, king-size owner’s cabin and a spacious saloon.
