Enavigo 33 belongs to the typical representatives of the class of sailing boats mainly built in Northern Europe. These vessels belong to the owner´s category with much more comfort in the interior, as well as on the deck. Enavigo 33 is a sailing boat with classical lines with relatively long water line. The hull construction is solid wood by method of so-called WEST technology (wood epoxy saturation technique). The use of wood as a natural material enables the most original presentation of traditional design, and it has a prominent durability and strength Due to the high and, consequently, deep cockpit, Enavigo 33 has somewhat higher silhouette than usual for vessels with an aft cockpit, but cockpit here is fit into whole composition in a way that it does not spoil boat´s elegant shape at all. Expansive deck offers plenty of free space for moving around, while all belonging equipment is well dimensioned and functionally arranged.
Thanks to her long waterline, interior is outstandingly spacious for a boat of this length, while sailing qualities are close to those of 37, or more, footers. Interior is constructed with refinement and precision and also, regarding sailing boat´s size, provides large space. The wide beam easily accommodates a huge saloon and two cabin layout. Galley, food and equipment storage – everything is designed for and adjusted to a very long cruise in high style, because the entire interior is made of teak. The tanks are located below the cabin sole and they are integrated into the structure of the hull which gives it additional strength and lowers the gravity centre. The Enavigo 33 is a boat of considerable volume, with a keel slightly longer than fashionable nowadays and a steering wheel with strong skeg which provides sound tracking stability. Deck equipment layout is logical and adjusted to navigation on the open sea with a small crew. Deck is teak-laid with bowsprits and deck rail made of mahogany. Bronze deck items give the boat special beauty. One of the important characteristics is a mainsheet placed behind the cockpit, i.e. sheet is being caught next to the boom, thus significantly less strength is needed for manoeuvring the mainsail, while sheet itself is at helmsman´s hand, which is very important primarily regarding safety. Basically, 33 has been designed as a cutter – with two genoas, which is also suitable for the open sea. Surely, it is not ideal for tacking, but is useful on longer trips, since boat is always prepared for difficult sea conditions. It takes only furling down genoa and reefing mainsail to continue relaxed sailing. Embedded equipment is exclusively of the best possible quality, wealthy dimensioned, which is also of great importance regarding both less strength needed for handling sails and better durability of equipment itself.
