According to the appearance, Grand Soleil 43 is a typical representative of the series of cruisers that, besides sound navigational possibilities, has to provide a crew with optimal comfort for belonging category. Designed as 13-metre sloop, she effortlessly unites all existing demands of the contemporary boaters into harmonious whole. The Grand Soleil 43 is manufactured using traditional boat-building methods adapted to the latest engineering developments and materials. In order to ensure that the hull is stiff and stable, it is provided with a galvanised steel frame to create a construction capable of absorbing all the loads and forces imposed by the keel, mast and shrouds.
Hull comprises quite enough room for pleasant sojourn, while providing crew with safety and bigger movability during easygoing sailing. It is most obvious in comparison with the old model which is longer and wider than new model for 14 and 6 cm, but the new 43´s has longer waterline for 9 cm. Interior, manufactured in only one version with three cabins, saloon and two heads, is pretty conventional and deprived of experimenting. It is not at all bad - moreover, proven solutions are often the best ones. Bow cabin is owner´s, while two aft ones are intended for guests. Elegant saloon is dominated by light tone of the veneer even more emphasised by the white upholstery of the settee. All carpentry is made with great precision, with Italian bent for aesthetics. More powerful engine of 55HP is an alternative for better safety and more efficient breaking bow waves.
