Designed in the same way as its predecessors by the architects Joubert/Nivelt, it will be elegant and balanced like a Tofinou 9.50m and a rapid thoroughbred like a Tofinou 8m. The materials remain the blend of varnished wood, stainless steel, carbon and fiberglass that have underpinned the success of the legendary Tofinou 7m launched over 20 years ago. This new model´s main original feature is that it can switch status from a dayboat to a weekender.
- It offers a beam height of 1.7m, with a spacious cabin, housing four beautiful berths, a galley, separate marine toilets and a shower… for a real dream weekend.
- Fitted with Mylar sails, a code O and an asymmetric spinnaker, the Tofinou 12 m is designed to offer pure sensations of pleasure when sailing.
- The spirit remains focused on simple handling, enabling solo sailors to calmly control their boat, finding all of their rigging at hand in the cockpit, with one or two helm wheels, as selected. Four winches, including one optional electrical winch, will round off the equipment.
- Anchoring maneuvers will be made easier thanks to an anchor positioned on a foldaway and easy-to-use anchor roller.
- With a crew, everyone will be able to find their place, comfortably. And even crew members who are fans of sunbathing will be able to enjoy a beautiful rear sunbathing area, fitted with a bathing ladder that discreetly folds away into the stern platform. Other comfort: meals are organized around a hand-adjustable integrated table at the back of the cockpit.
