The next generation ZR1014 Jammer represents a genuine step advance in rope holding technology. It brings a new level of crew safety for powerful mid sized production yachts. A radical departure in design from the traditional clutch or jammer, the ZR is aimed squarely at builders of production yachts in the fast-growing 38’-50’ sailboat range requiring holding loads up to 1500kg. The ZR Jammer promotes safer handling of highly loaded lines through a new and simple control mechanism, virtually eliminating the risk of crew injury from accidental release. As well as volume builders, it is expected that the ZR Jammer will be attractive to customers upgrading systems where the ability to release under load is not required, such as furling sail halyards.
