EFOY COMFORT fuel cell generators offer decisive advantages over other off-grid power supplies, like Diesel generators, solar modules or wind generators. They are weather independent, silent and provide reliable on board power anytime, anywhere. Integrated in a small separate compartment of the boat, they constantly monitor the charge state of the on-board battery, automatically recharging it whenever required. The boat owner never has to worry about running out of power again. The EFOY COMFORT is maintenance free and will operate fully automatically as long as there is fuel.

SFC Energy AG has responded to calls for more flexibility when installing the popular EFOY COMFORT fuel cell. A longer cartridge connection will in future enable users to position the M5 or M10 fuel cartridge at a different level to the device itself, allowing the fuel cartridge to be fitted above or below the EFOY COMFORT fuel cell. This is extremely useful in particular where installation space is limited, for example in small vans or sailing boats.
EFOY COMFORT, the light, quiet and proven all-year on-board power supply for leisure applications continues to be supplied in three models with a daily charge capacity of 80, 140 or 210 Ah.
"The longer cartridge connection is our response to the ideas and wishes of our cus-tomers in the caravanning and sailing fields. In comparison to other energy solutions we offer with our EFOY COMFORT more flexibility for individual installation situations," says Dr. Peter Podesser, CEO of SFC Energy AG. "A number of vehicle manufacturers will already be presenting a fitted fuel cell with longer cartridge connection at the CMT. We are especially pleased that our EFOY COMFORT has now gained a foothold in the area of caravans."
At this year's CMT, the Knaus Tabbert Group will be showcasing the Eurostar, a modern caravan with a high share of technical equipment to make independent camping a comfortable experience. The EFOY COMFORT 140 is now factory-fitted as a standard component of the Eurostar self-sufficiency package in order to ensure the desired level of comfort. This makes the Knaus Tabbert Group the world's first vehicle manufacturer to offer a fuel cell as a factory-fitted option in a caravan.
