Boat Detection System (BDS)
This is a basic plug and play alarm system especially developed by VETUS for intrusion and theft prevention. The BDS system is suitable for all kind of vessels equipped with a electric installation.

The basic system consists of a smart box with a build in GSM/GPS tracking module. It is equipped with a plug and play wiring setup making installation easy and time efficient. Optionally the system can be expanded with intrusion detection. The owner can choose for a motion detector for inner spaces or for outdoor spaces. In the event of theft or unauthorized entry the system will immediately transmit a SMS message to his mobile phone. Also he´s able to monitor the actual status of his boat by SMS message and optionally using his personal Internet page.

Boat Monitoring System (BMS)
The boat monitoring system consists of the same smart controlbox with build in GSM/GPS tracking module and a distribution module. A simple and intuitive touch panel with display allows the owner to read out all types of alarms and change settings. The control box is connected with the distribution box by a cable. The distribution module is used to connect all the peripherals. The system can be expanded with various peripherals such as a motion detectors, bilgewater detectors, smoke detectors, switches to control the refrigerator, heating system, temperature monitoring. With this choice of components, the owner will be able to customize the system entirely to his requirements. A clear multi language installation manual is included. Also in a later stage the system can be expanded with additional options.

Prevention of intrusion and theft
In the case of intrusion or theft of the boat, the owner will be informed immediately via SMS message to his mobile phone or the Control room. Therefore, no matter where owner is, he will know exactly the situation on board. If the whole boat is stolen, the module will send with at each movement of the boat, an SMS message with the current coordinates, the course and the speed. In this way its whereabouts and track may be monitored.

Prevention of on board damage
The BMS module can also send a warning in case of fire, frost, high bilge water level, low battery voltage and much more. When the owner isn´t on board, the module will inform him about the relevant situation by means of a SMS message. If he´s on board at the time, then he will be warned by means of a siren. Therefore, at all times the VETUS BMS system is an important contributor to the safety of the boat and her crew. (www.vetus.nl)
