The Cosworth TeamCom is a high performance radio system that provides seamless open mic, digital quality voice communications using wireless technology. The TeamCom system uses a single base station to allow up to 20 team members to communicate as members of up 6 distinct groups with each individual able to choose receive and broadcast groups on the fly.
Using the TeamCom groups such as sail handlers, grinders, crew and tacticians can each communicate with those in the same role without the “noise” of messages from other groups filling the airwaves. The boat’s skipper and strategists can listen and speak to any of these groups and even choose to listen to one (e.g., the tacticians) while speaking to another (e.g., the crew).
