The IB70 is the first-ever integrated electronic bridge product from Digital Yacht. It is specifically for the ´plug and play´ market, and for boats from 30-70 ft, offering radar, chart plotter, GPS, AIS and MARPA target tracking in one compact unit. The IB70 works in conjunction with Jeppesen Marine´s Nobeltec charting software.
IB70 systems comprise a CF50 black box processor, CU50 control keypad and TF615 sunlight viewable LCD display. There are three choices of radar antenna ranging from a compact 20in 2kw unit to a 4.5ft 4KW open array. Also included are a high performance AIS receiver and 4 port NMEA multiplexer, providing up to 3 channels of NMEA instrument or GPS data - connect to any compatible NMEA1083 instrument, GPS or autopilot.
IB systems are based around standard but highly ruggedised and embedded PC architecture. That means you can use your IB70 system for other applications like video playback, browsing the web or weather fax decoding. It also makes it easy to upgrade, as it can be set to update when connected to the internet. (Digital Yacht)
