A propeller transforms engine power into thrust, which in turn, overcomes the boat’s resistance and move it in the required direction, fully in accordance with the laws of nature. But now, when RMC Marine introduce a complete range of the patented swing bow and stern thruster designed and developed in Sweden – the Swing Thruster – it’s time to think again. With the RMC Swing Thruster, you get 30-50% greater efficiency, low sound level and minimal cavitation. And last but not least, it does not require a tunnel through the hull, which reduces boat speed.
All parts are manufactured to the highest marine quality standards. Joystick and foot pedals are available as accessories. Radio controls are also available. The different RMC Swing Thruster models are suitable for 25-85 foot boats.
The RMC Swing Thruster preserves the looks and performance of your boat as the whole unit "disappears" into the transom of the boat, where previously were installed a traditional, external, transom mounted thruster tunnel.
