OceanLED has launched its new underwater camera, Ocean Eyes, which is set to take the marine industry by storm with its crystal clear footage of life under the ocean.
OceanLED has teamed up with Sony to create the perfect accessory for boating enthusiasts. Ocean Eyes consists of a Sony 1/3-Inch Professional HDV Camcorder featuring 520 TV lines for optimum resolution at all times. It has a 12v DC connection and uses a simple RCA video feed to bring the ocean to life whilst on board.
OceanLED is renowned for using Tritonium glass and the Ocean Eyes’ lens is no exception. Tritonium lenses have been specifically designed by OceanLED and Tritonium Optical Technologies (a research laboratory specialising in optical systems) to inhibit barnacle build up. Therefore, it becomes impossible for the camera lens to be scratched, enabling it to capture high quality footage at all times.
Ocean Eyes is simple to install and only requires a 1.5” hole cut out in the hull. It is factory sealed to ensure that it can’t be damaged by even the smallest amounts of water or condensation and has been encased in corrosion proof housing for longevity.
Ocean Eyes is already being put through its paces by world renowned fishing team, Get Lit, sponsored by OceanLED. The team has five OceanLED cameras attached to its boat, enabling them to capture all of the underwater action from its recent tournaments. (www. oceanled.com)
