Benetti
Benetti has delivered the 49-meter full custom mega yacht M/Y “Elaldrea+” to her owner. Sleek, streamlined exterior lines designed by Argentinian architect Horacio Bozzo are matched by exquisite interiors decorated by the Benetti Style Department.
Recently in Viareggio, during a ceremony charged with emotion, M/Y “Elaldrea+”, 49-meter displacement yacht, was handed over to her owner.
She features many singularities particularly worthy of notice: besides the steel hull, Elaldrea+ has an aluminium superstructure painted in pearl white with silver accents. Depending on the angle of the light, a special iridescent effect enhances the details of the shapes or hides them completely from view.
Exterior styling by Horacio Bozzo and interiors by the Benetti Style Department breathe life into an elegant yacht designed for family and social life. Many of the spaces on board are designed to be used during navigation, not least the large beach club with air conditioning, sofa, TV, bar and sauna. With one window in the ceiling and one in the rear door, which opens out onto a swim platform of almost 25 sqm, the setting is flooded with natural light even when cruising.
The layout of the Lower Deck features the guest cabins, the crew quarters, the engine room and the stern garage, fitted with a side door, and able to accommodate a tender up to 21 feet long. Four guest cabins, all with private bathroom and shower, of which two very spacious VIP cabins with and two double cabins with French and single beds, provide an extremely high class and comfortable setting for the owner’s big family or guests to enjoy. All the space available has been put to good use with a dedicated laundry room and three double cabins with private bathroom for the crew. The engine room contains three in-line generators with HUG anti particulate filters to reduce pollution, in a special non-standard feature. The owner also asked for the chief engineer’s cabin with private bathroom to be located close to the engine room.
Fine interiors and big spaces are the main features of the Main Deck too. In the stern cockpit, the furnishings are designed by Horacio Bozzo, while for the main lounge, split into lounge and dining areas, the owner has chosen luxury brands including Poltrona Frau, Giorgetti, Softhouse and Arketipo.
The day zone provides direct access to the kitchen area and a pantry containing two specially designed wine cellars. Further forward is a space set aside for use as an office, followed by the owner’s apartments, which are decorated with fine marble and wood, two dedicated dressing tables, two bathrooms that share a big central shower, and a flying-out balcony.
The outdoor spaces on the Upper Deck feature a swimming pool in the bow that can be filled with seawater, while a more convivial setting in the stern is furnished with made to measure
tables, an American bar and Sutherland furniture. Inside, a panoramic lounge with TV area and bar tables with stools provide space for fun and relaxation in company. This value is particularly dear to the owner’s heart, so much so that he decided to modify the layout on this deck to add a full-blown gaming room with private bathroom.
Facing the helm station and next to the captain’s cabin, which also has a private bathroom, is a sofa designed by Horacio Bozzo that provides the ideal setting to enjoy cruising to the full.
A second panoramic fresh water swimming pool, measuring 4x2 m and provided with storage compartments, is located on the Sun Deck, where the exteriors are completed by an American bar, a 50-inch TV, a barbecue and a square table seating up to ten, plus a forward area with sofas and armchairs.
A range of 4 thousand nautical miles at 10 knots means that “Elaldrea+” is ideally suited to long cruises, with two MTU 12V engines delivering a top speed of 14 knots and a cruising speed of 13.5 knots (with engines at 85% power).
