Seatec, the exhibition of technology, components, design and subcontracting applied to yachting, conceived and organized by IMM CarraraFiere, the only event dedicated to the sector in Italy and southern Europe, reaches its 17th edition.
The 2019 event, following the evolution in the boating world, represents an important opportunity to innovate and enrich a unique format in the Italian nautical trade fair scene, which for 17 years has been the reference point of the industry and that -familiar with the current market fervour to consolidate its presence and its value in the context of the yachting sector, also thanks to its position in the heart of the largest superyacht production district in Italy which, moreover, is the largest producer of the segment in world.
For the 2019 edition of Seatec a series of new areas and opportunities have been designed and organized, whose goal is to consolidate a leading role in the stage of international nautical events.
In order to achieve this renewal, 5 Business Clusters have been identified to best represent the operating sectors of the companies participating to Seatec 2019, as well as new themes that will allow both the product sectors and the visit of the B2B event to be expanded:
1. Delivery
The trade and logistics that represent the entire supply chain in the sector up to the point of delivery.
2. Marina
The marinas, the comfort that boats and crews can benefit, the opportunities of the contemporary tourist harbours, assisted by apps and internet that emphasize the products / services provided and simplify the management and user contacts.
3. Building
The world of shipbuilding and the construction phases of a yacht: from design, to construction, to launching.
4. Refit
Refit & Repair, the indispensable activities to maintain a fleet of yachts and superyachts that grows constantly and requires constant assistance. Activities that enhance the know-how and savoir faire of Italian shipyards in this sector of growing interest.
5. Sustainability
Seatec has always promoted environmental awareness by encouraging and highlighting the companies that produce and operate with the maximum environmental sustainability, giving companies identified as "eco-sustainable" a special visibility.

Showroom
The exhibition of products of excellence in the most classic sense of product fair and shows opportunities and services for the boating industry.
B2B Meeting
The always appreciated B2B meetings between operators with international buyers from Europe, the Americas and Asia with the operational support of Ice Agency.
Academy
The professional training activities able to release CFPs to engineers and architects, started last year with Seatec Academy that further enrich and specialize in Seatec.
Workshop
Since the beginning, the conference has been a feature of Seatec, which has always offered high-tech contents and deals with topics related to the dynamic of the boating market.
Awards
The historical Myda, Qualitec Technology and Qualitec Awards, sided by the most recent ADI Award, awards and prizes that highlight the excellences of the participating companies - such as the "Entrepreneur of the Year" award - and the new talents of yacht design and commitment of the components supply chain in offering increasingly advanced and attractive products.
Seatec is scheduled in CarraraFiere, Marina di Carrara, from 3 to 5 April 2019.
