The WaveFinder is the Man Over Board system (MOB) developed by Kannad. It has been selected on the “Solidaire du Chocolat” race, the first Transat between France and Mexico.
The WaveFinder is the only MOB on the market to propose a tracking function to be able to follow the person until he is rescued. The WaveFinder, must-have safety equipment, is adapted to sailing and racing, and enables the organization of man over board search and rescue.
In case of man over board, when the temperature of the water does not exceed 15 degree, the surviving time is less than one hour, so every single minute is important. The first persons able to save the man over board are the crew members. Thanks to the WaveFinder, the crew is immediately warned and can follow the position of the man over board in real time.
